National Safety Stand Down to Prevent Falls in Construction

May 2nd to the 6th, 2022 OSHA will be holding a National Safety Stand Down to Prevent Falls in Construction. Your participation in this event can be a much or as little as you would like; however, we are strongly encouraging everyone to take this time to speak with your team about fall hazards, preventing falls, and the importance of taking fall risks and protection seriously.

We will be sending Toolbox Talks which focus on the three pillars of OSHA’s Fall Prevention campaign – Plan. Provide. Train. The talks will be grouped accordingly, and we hope you will take the opportunity to use them all, rather than just one per week.

Throughout the month of May, we will be sending weekly eBlasts with additional resources, training topics, worksheets, and infographics that you can use to bring awareness to preventing falls. Please feel free to reach out to our team for assistance or guidance in how to best present the information to your employees.

Please send us pictures of your team participating in this important campaign or post them to social media using the hashtag #StandDown4Safety – we’d love to see what you are doing with your team to support this important message!
